1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Glyph ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Glyph is an AI-powered icon generation platform that creates custom application icons based on user prompts. We offer:

  • Free credits: New accounts receive 3 free credits upon signup
  • Credit packs: Additional credits may be purchased in one-time, non-expiring packs
  • Each successful icon generation consumes 1 credit

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Generate content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Generate hateful, violent, or sexually explicit content
  • Abuse rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
  • Reverse engineer or scrape the Service
  • Resell or redistribute generated icons without proper licensing

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of icons you generate. By using the Service, you grant us a license to:

  • Store your prompts and generated images for service improvement
  • Display your icons in marketing materials (with your permission)

5.2 Our Content

The Glyph platform, codebase, and brand are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them.

5.3 Generated Icons

Icons generated using Glyph are licensed to you for both personal and commercial use, regardless of whether they were generated using free or purchased credits.

You are responsible for ensuring your generated icons do not infringe third-party rights.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Credit Purchases

Credit packs are sold as one-time purchases. There is no recurring billing or subscription — you are charged once, at the time of purchase, for the credit pack you select.

6.2 Refunds

Within 30 days of a purchase, you may request a refund for the unused portion of that purchase, calculated based on your current credit balance at the time of the request, on a pro-rated basis. No refunds will be issued for requests made more than 30 days after the date of purchase. To request a refund, contact support@useglyphapp.com.

6.3 No Recurring Charges

Glyph does not use subscriptions. There is nothing to cancel — each credit pack is a single, one-time purchase with no future charges.

6.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change credit pack pricing at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect credits you have already purchased.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

  • Scheduled maintenance downtime
  • Third-party service failures (Recraft AI, Clerk, Stripe)
  • Force majeure events

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glyph from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of third-party rights

10. Data Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Glyph, you consent to our data practices described therein.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Arbitration

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except you may bring claims in small claims court.

11.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email.
